APIS is a not-for-profit association that aims to promote philosophy in schools. This is not a cut-down university philosophy, but a rich pedagogy for integrating higher-order thinking in schools.

Philosophy Cafe
The next Philosophy Cafe will be held on Tuesday December 9, from 7.30pm at the University of Notre Dame - The old Fremantle Hotel now Fairweathers Front Bar on the Cnr of High Street and Cliff Street, FremantleThe question for discussion: 'Is any Knowledge Innate?'
You can get warmed up for the discussion by visiting the discussion forum on this site. The discussion can then continue after the Cafe.
Join us for some interesting philosophical exchange. Things to consider: Consider the kind of evidence and manner you would choose to convey your claim. How would you justify your response to any objections raised? That is, on what grounds.

This year's theme, Enhancing Rsponsibility will be explored at the RMIT University in Melbourne, June 27-29, 2007.
